Kai Burrus recognized for her work chairing the Rotary Climate Action Team

SFSU Climate HQ Co-Director Kai Burrus was recently honored as Rotarian of the Month by the San Francisco Rotary Club, recognizing their leadership as chair of the Rotary Climate Action Team (RCAT). Through this role, Kai has been organizing collaborative SF Bay shoreline restoration projects that bring together RCAT volunteers and Climate HQ initiatives. This recognition highlights the power of community partnerships in advancing nature-based climate solutions throughout the Bay Area.
