Can California lead the country to a just climate transition?
Overview
Can California lead the country to a just climate transition?
We once led the nation - why have we fallen behind in our goal?
Why are communities of color most harmed?
What are state officials proposing to do about that, and why is it so controversial?
I am excited to announce a talk by an emerging California climate leader – and member of the state’s important Environmental Justice Advisory Committee – to the weekly International Relations seminar in global environmental policy (IR/GEOG 735) this Wednesday evening, Oct. 26, 7:30 PM, by zoom.
SF State climate community folks who want to zoom in can contact kmcafee@sfsu.edu.
